Recent Coup in Niger - Interview with Dr. Adam Sandor

Last Wednesday, the president of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum, was kidnapped by a group of soldiers. The borders were declared closed and a nationwide curfew was imposed. The election of President Bazoum was the first democratic transfer of power since independence from France in 1960. Since then, Niger has seen four military coups.
