Call for Applications – Student Assistants (20h or 40h/month) for the ERC-INFRAGLOB project, Chair for Sociology of Africa

The Chair for Sociology of Africa (Prof. Jana Hönke) is offering positions for Student Assistants (20h or 40h/month) starting from April 1st, 2021 (or earlier). The positions are within the ERC-INFRAGLOB project (www.infraglob.eu), which examines governance practices and controversies over Chinese and Brazilian investments in Africa.
Tasks and responsibilities comprise research (of information and literature), transcribing interviews (from English and French OR English and Chinese), coding documents, and administrative support.
A requirement for the application is that you are at an advanced stage of your bachelor studies or already in master’s studies. Moreover, very good knowledge (preferably at level C1/C2) of English and French OR English and Chinese is necessary.
